hotpieceofclass: Of all the iPod speakers I’ve come across, this is by far the classiest. DWR is selling this iVictrola by designer Matt Richmond. The amplification of sound is entirely acoustic, needing no batteries or electricity. I love the look of an antique gramophone, with its sweeping lines and top-heaviness. It isn’t likely I’ll ever have the money to buy a real gramophone - who plays RECORDS nowadays? - but this little beauty would do quite nicely. I’m curious about the sound; anybody ever seen one at work?
